My little ones celebrated their 2nd birthday about a month ago.  I was able to find a little time to make them birthday cards.

Welcome to Virginia's Spare Time Blog!   The blog is a venue for me to share with others what I do with my spare time. 

Not that I have much spare time these days!  I work full time as a Oracle Developer for a Financial Company and I am a mom of 2 year of boy/girl twins.

There are a few things I enjoy doing when I am not working or spending time with the kids.  I love to play tennis!  The club I belonged to went out of business in April.  I am looking for a new club and hopefully will start playing again soon.

I also enjoy creating my own greeting cards.  I love paper!  Parchment Craft is one of the techniques I use to create my cards. I learned Parchment craft when I was a little girl in Brazil. After I came to the United States I didn't make a card for 15 years! A few years ago with the help of the Internet I was able to find the special parchment paper needed to make the cards. Since then I have been doing cards for my family and friends.
